EuroPack Summit 2026

Senior packaging leaders from across Europe will gather from 2 March to 3 March 2026 for the EuroPack Summit 2026, hosted by Marcus Evans at the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace in Montreux. The summit is a private, invitation-only forum that brings together decision makers across FMCG packaging, sustainability, operations, and innovation.

Unlike a typical trade show, the summit focuses on direct conversations, peer learning and curated meetings that connect packaging executives with solution providers aligned to their current needs. Attendees include packaging directors, heads of R&D, sustainability leads, and senior supply chain and operations executives.

This year’s programme will explore the challenges and opportunities driving the European packaging sector:

Material Evolution: Bio-based, regenerative, and recyclable solutions to meet circularity goals and reduce environmental impact

Digital Packaging: QR codes, NFC, and sensors to improve transparency, traceability, and consumer engagement

The Return Journey: Refill, reuse, and returnable models that reduce waste and support sustainable business models

Design and Brand Impact: Minimalist, flexible, and emotionally resonant approaches that enhance convenience, brand expression, and consumer loyalty

Regulatory Pressure: Navigating the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and aligning strategies to new mandates on recyclability and waste reduction

Smarter Systems: Harnessing AI, robotics, and automation to optimize operations, reduce costs, and accelerate sustainability

The summit will feature insights from esteemed industry leaders who bring experience in packaging innovation, brand identity, and operational excellence:

  • Irene Akpeokhai, Global Packaging Director, GB Foods
  • Corinna Asmus, Global Director Brand Identity & Design, Nivea
  • Nicola Galaffu, Head of Department: Packaging Innovation & Prototyping, Nestlé

These contributors will share perspectives on how packaging leaders can balance innovation, compliance, sustainability, and brand value, while addressing the evolving demands of consumers and markets.

The EuroPack Summit 2026 provides senior executives with a unique opportunity to step away from daily pressures and engage in meaningful dialogue with peers and partners. The summit’s format fosters strategic collaboration and practical exploration of what successful packaging strategies will look like in Europe in the year ahead.
