Precision, speed, and virtual simulation. These are the key words behind the new monoblock machine presented by VIMCO at Ipack-Ima 2025, the result of close collaboration with Rockwell Automation.
The system, highly integrated, brings together in a single platform the box format, machine vision for product recognition, robotic selection and filling, and final sealing with glue. It is a compact solution designed to meet the needs of those managing high-frequency primary and secondary packaging, especially for boxes used in visual communication, which are particularly delicate.
“For this machine, we needed precise and reliable components, and that’s why we chose Rockwell,” explains Andrea Monti, Technical Director at VIMCO. “Their products align perfectly with our philosophy: high quality, high performance, and an international presence that guarantees support for our customers around the world.”

One of the greatest advantages of the partnership is the use of Emulate3D technology, Rockwell Automation’s digital twin, which allows VIMCO to virtually simulate the entire behavior of the machine even before it is physically built. This approach significantly reduces development times, anticipates design challenges, and enables the delivery of more robust and reliable solutions.
The collaboration with Rockwell goes beyond the supply of components: it is a shared technological ecosystem that allows VIMCO to maintain high quality standards and bring to market custom machines that are quick to implement and highly performing.
