IPACK-IMA focuses also on non food, end-of-line and crossing technologies.

The show, scheduled from 3 to 6 May 2022 in Milan, offers unique opportunities for “cross-contamination” among production sectors.

Scheduled from 3th to 6th May 2022, IPACK-IMA is the international reference point for the world of processing and packaging. An excellence chosen in 2018 by over 74,000 visitors from the food, beverage and non-food industries, having being able to meet over 1,500 exhibitors with a unique technological innovation proposal at every stage of the production chain: from processing to packaging, from design to the study of innovative materials, from labeling to the end of the line, from automation to digitalization.

IPACK-IMA 2022 is therefore an appointment that, having overcome the difficulties of restarting, represents the only landing point for all production chains.

The focus on non food sector will be renewed in 2022 with particular reference to the chemical & pharmaceutical sector which – protagonist of the period of health emergency – according to forecasts, in 2022, will be looking for new development opportunities. Whether we are talking about individual protection devices, drugs and parapharmaceuticals, vaccines, medical devices, products for the sanitization of environments or solutions for beauty and personal care, the sector is at the forefront to respond to the new consumer needs on which the hygienic-sanitary aspects deriving from the so-called “new normal” will affect, together with the growing demand for environmental sustainability.

More effective and advanced packaging systems, research of innovative and green materials, technologies for production, encapsulation, packing, serialization, quality control are just some of the areas in which the competitive battle will be played in the chemical & pharmaceutical sector and that in IPACK -IMA will find an answer thanks to the proposals of specialized exhibitors who have already chosen to be present. In fact, IPACK-IMA aims to consolidate in 2022 an entire pavilion for the chemical-pharmaceutical sector which, combined with a rich proposal of contents and dedicated events, offers a unique ecosystem for the reference business communities.

The completeness of the IPACK-IMA exhibition will also offer unique opportunities in terms of technology transfer in a logic of “cross-contamination” aimed at the entire consumer and durable goods industry, with strong synergies among multiple production sectors.

To reinforce an approach that combines different sectors, two entire halls will be dedicated to crossing technologies solutions applicable to all sectors such as end-of-line, palletizing, coding, marking, labeling systems and intralogistics solutions.

Complete exhibition offer, technology transfer opportunities and a rich panorama of events make IPACK-IMA a unique show, the ideal event for operators looking for new solutions for their business with a date, 3-6 May 2022, that analysts expect representing the real restart at an industrial level.
