THE COMPANY AND ITS HISTORY

Ilpra was established in 1955 with the aim of designing and producing reliable, leading-edge packaging machines

In the same year the first traysealer was built, testifying to the capacity for innovation and market vision. It was in 1982 that, faithful to its vocation for innovation and development, Ilpra launched the first Protective Atmosphere heat sealer on the market.

Since the ’80s the growth of the company has never stopped: the continuous investments in research and development, the constant projection towards technological innovation together with important commercial investments, have led the Ilpra brand to spread rapidly all over the world.

Today the Ilpra Group includes several local subsidiaries in the main countries around the world. In addition, a global network of distributors and service centres guarantee extensive knowledge and expertise in the relevant markets. All this makes Ilpra an undisputed world leader in food, industrial and medical packaging.
